SIBU: Soung Yong Tie, the mother of Bintulu MP Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing, was buried yesterday morning at Sg Aup Cemetery following a funeral mass at St Teresa’s Catholic Church.
Tiong is also the Prime Minister’s special envoy to East Asia (Japan, South Korea & Taiwan) and president of Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP). His late mother passed away at 6.50am on March 22 at her residence at the age of 102.
