KUCHING: Grab the chance to be among the first to see this year’s much anticipated blockbusters – ‘Fast & Furious 7’ on April 2 and ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ on April 23 as tickets are now on sale via the Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) ticketing counters and e-payment channels via website and mobile apps.

In a press statement from GSC, patrons are advised to purchase tickets early to avoid disappointment and also to save six per cent on Goods and Services Tax (GST) effective April 1.

The statement also said that GSC will be absorbing the GST for March purchases of movies which will be released in April.

On another note, movie goers can also purchase tickets with credit card via the updated GSC mobile apps available on Windows Phone, iOS and Android devices.

Meanwhile, with the implementation of GST, ticket prices, vouchers, concession items, and food and beverage items will remain unchanged but six per cent GST is levied on existing prices.

The 3D surcharges are also subject to GST as these are taxable services.

GSC has always offered value for money by ensuring ticket prices are affordable for all walks of life without compromising the overall cinematic experiences.

In addition, GSC will be maintaining the booking fee for online transactions and will absorb the 6 per cent GST.

Apart from the usual 2D format, patrons can look forward to a totally exciting movie experience as ‘Fast & Furious 7’ and ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ will also be screened in 3D format.
