Townsfolk throng the riverfront near Mukah Old Bazaar to view a 2,000kg tiger shark, which was found dead inside the fishing net of a fisherman from Sibu, known only as Ah Ping. According to Fisheries Development Authority of Malaysia (LKIM) assistant operations officer Rojik Jemali, Ah Ping and his crew arrived at Mukah LKIM Complex on Monday night with the ‘massive catch’, which could only be hauled up using a crane the next day.
