SIBU: It was indeed an evening packed with fun and excitement that will be remembered for the rest of their lives for ex-students of both SMK Sacred Heart and SMK St Elizabeth at their ‘Joint Reunion Dinner’ held at Kingwood Hotel on Saturday night.

The auspicious event was jointly organised by the Sacred Heart Old Students Association (Shosa) and St Elizabeth Old Students Association (Seosa).

The evening event saw touching moments when former students broadly smiled as they hugged
each other after not meeting one another for so long.

It was indeed more than just a reunion event, as the get-together was a perfect time to re-ignite and further strengthen ties among all the former students as they shared the unforgettable moments of their school days.

Temenggong Vincent Lau, Shosa president Robert Lau and Seosa president Teresa Lau were also present.

Meanwhile, the highlight of the event was the presentation of a 20-minute video documentary entitled ‘Tribute to Brother Albinus’, which was also open for orders during the dinner.

Available in CD form, the video was produced by Yayasan Lasellian Kuching to honour Brother Albinus.

Held for the fourth year, the joint reunion dinner was filled with lots of fun and exciting programmes like singing and dance presentations, ending up with a dance party as the former students tapped their feet to the irresistible beat presented by the ever-popular Shosa member DJ Eddy Phua.
