Ez-ADU App launched, platform for public to lodge complaints

PUTRAJAYA: The Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry (KPDNKK) yesterday launched Ez-ADU, an application to facilitate lodging of complaints by consumers on consumerism issues via smart phones.

Its minister Datuk Seri Hasan Malek said the application was developed to tackle profiteering and making consumers as intermediaries for the ministry to monitor the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) by traders.

“Through this application, consumers can take pictures and directly insert them into the KPDNKK system to make it easier for us to investigate. “The period of investigation depends on the type of complaint, the accuracy of the information, situation and location the complaint was made,” he said after launching the application, here. — Bernama
