BANJARMASIN, South Kalimantan: The Tanah Laut, South Kalimantan, Narcotics Police Unit arrested a man known to possess crystal methamphetamine and dealer of the illicit goods in its jurisdiction, Antaranews reported.
“We’ve learned that the actor besides having crystal methamphetamine (shabu-shabu) also as dealer,” said Chief of Narcotics Police unit Inspector Pol Alfiando Papona on Friday.
He said the arrest of the perpetrator, named Jaini (30), resident of Jalan A Yani, Pandasari village, Kintap Sub-district, Tanah Laut District, because his consumer who has already been caught admit, he got the illicit goods from Jaini.
Police, who had pocketed Jaini name as well as the address, on Monday (13/4) night around 21:30, immediately raided his home witnessed by the shief of the local neighborhood.
In the search, police found a box of sweets, three small packs of shabu-shabu, two plastic straws, a glass pipette, a stove from a glass bottle and a mobile phone. Jaini immediately escorted to the Tanah Laut police station for investigation.
Jaini named as a suspect and charged under Article 112 jo 114 of Law No. 35 Year 2009 on Narcotics punishable by a minimum of 4 years and a fine of up to billions rupiahs.
