KINABATANGAN: A 50-year-old businessman was shot in his chest by four armed robbery suspects at Malangking Estate near here, on  Friday.

The victim managed to drive to the workers’ quarters located some three kilometers away from the scene.

The victim who had gunshot wound is his left chest was receiving treatment at Kinabatangan Hospital and was reported to be in stable condition, said Sahak.

The victim lost two wristwatches and a mobile phone in the incident.
