IPOH: Police have arrested a woman for allegedly beating a child after a video on the incident went viral on the social media for the past few days.
Ipoh police chief ACP Sum Chang Keong said police had investigated and identified the individual as a 17-year-old woman who is the mother of the victim and arrested her today in Ipoh.
In the 48-second video recording the woman was seen hitting the child insistently to try and stop the child from crying.– BERNAMA
