SIBU: There was no change in the committee line-up of the Sibu Ping Pong Association (SPPA) after its general meeting at Methodist Centenary Park in Mile 29 Oya Road on Sunday.
Temenggong Vincent Lau Lee Ming and Tang Yuk Siong remained as president and first vice president while Dr Clement Chen was re-elected the chairman and Desmond Ling, the secretary.
The two vice-chairmen are Yii Ming Chu and Tang Li Ping while Pau Cheng Chiong was retained the treasurer.
In his brief opening address, Chen reminded members to work hard collectively to upgrade the standard of the game here.
He noted the increase in the number of players, especially from the younger group.
“This is good and it augurs well for the future development of the sport here, “ he said.
