HALIM PERDANAKUSUMA, JAKARTA: On arrival at the Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport, His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji ‘Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam was greeted by Dr. Yuddy Chrisnandi, the Minister for Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform; His Excellency Ahmad Rusdi, the Chief of Protocol of Indonesia; and Her Excellency Nurul Qomar, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Brunei Darussalam; as well as other senior officials from the Indonesian Government, ©BRUDIRECT.COM reported.
Also present at the airport to welcome His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam were Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, the Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade; and Awang Haji Ahmad Nasri bin Dato Paduka Dr. Haji Abdul Latif, Charge d’ affaires at the Brunei Darussalam’s Embassy in the Republic of Indonesia.
His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam consented to walk past a Static Guard of Honour mounted by 20 personnel of the Indonesian National Armed Forces before boarding a motorcade to the Grand Hyatt Jakarta, where His Majesty will reside throughout the events.
Upon arrival at the hotel, His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam was greeted by Mr Peter Stettler, the General Manager of the Grand Hyatt Jakarta, and other hotel staff. This year marks the 60th Asian-African Conference, which began in 1955 in Bandung.
Accompanying His Majesty were Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim, the Second Minister of Finance at the Prime Minister’s Office; and Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Rtd) Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar, the Minister of Energy at the Prime Minister’s Office.
