Bina Puri subsidiary procures RM123 million project

KUCHING: Bina Puri Holdings Bhd’s (Bina Puri) subsidiary has secured a contract for the interior design works for Block A and Block B of the Sabah Administrative Complex at a contract sum of RM123.32 million.

Bina Puri in a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday said its wholly-owned subsidiary Bina Puri Sdn Bhd has accepted a letter of award from Kota Kinabalu Public Works Department on April 20 to undertake the project.

The company disclosed that the project will take 12 months to be completed.

Bina Puri said with the latest project award, the group’s unbilled orderbook stood at RM2.17 billion as at to date.

Additionally, Bina Puri observed that the group have managed to secure projects worth of RM543 million as of to date in 2015.

Going forward, the company believes that there will be more opportunities to secure further projects by year end.

Bina Puri expects the latest contract award to contribute positively to the net assets and earnings of the group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2015.
