KUCHING: Shell officially launched a month-long joint promotion with 41 business operators of various industries on Saturday.

The promotion entitled ‘Project Brooke’ will be held at all 41 Kuching Shell stations from now until May 24.

Customers will be rewarded a limited edition booklet that offers exclusive privileges valued at RM5,000 and up to 90 per cent discounts.

According to campaign chairperson Olivia Ting, the promotion is aimed at rewarding customers by partnering with various businesses in Kuching, Samarahan, Bau, Lundu and Serian.

“It is something new to reward our customers. Shell has been the leader of fuel retailing, thanks to our loyal customers.

“Usually we partner with a few companies in our promotions but this time we took on 41 companies.

“This campaign is close to our hearts. As retailers, our customers deserve only the best. We want to give them something special, the best offerings in the market.

“We hope that by rewarding them with this exclusive booklet, we will be able to bring lots of joy and excitement to them and their families,” she said.

Ting added that participation is easy.

“Customers simply need to pump at least RM40 of Shell FuelSave 95 or V-Power 97 to get a stamp.

“With the fifth stamp, a customer is entitled to a free exclusive privileges booklet,” she said.

Meanwhile, Shell Sarawak district retail manager Wan Ahmad Anis Wan Shukri hoped to see more of such collaborations in the future.

“We will continue to build relationships with our business partners in Kuching as well as Sarawak in general.

“We hope to replicate future campaigns that will leverage on the values that the business partners can bring into the collaborations,” he said.

The promotion was launched at Sarawak Club with a flag-off of big bikers to a convoy carnival site at Petra Jaya Shell station, where 41 helium balloons were released.

The Shell team will also be organising such convoy carnivals at other Shell stations throughout Kuching on May 2 and 9.

The public is welcome to attend these events.
