Search for senior citizen going into fourth day

KOTA SAMARAHAN: Search and rescue operations for a senior citizen by the name of Jimi Kipli, is going into its fourth day today.

Jimi, 72, was reported missing on April 25 when she did not return by 6.30pm as expected. It is suspected that Jimi lost her way in Jalan Kampung Melayu, Kampung Maranek at Kota Samarahan.

Since she was reported missing on Saturday the search radius has been widened from 8km to 10km. The search focus is being made along the river edge along with the assistance of the villagers.

Since 72-year-old Jimi Kipli was reported missing on April 25, the search radius has been expanded from 8km to 10km.

Members of the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and Malaysian Civil Defence Department (JPAM) are involved in the search for Jimi Kipli.
