BANJARMASIN, South Kalimantan: Sabhara Unit Banjarmasin City police arrested three offenders while drinking oplosan or bootleg alcohol, Antaranews reported.
“The three men arrested when Sabhara conducted raid targeted thuggery and street crime,” said Sabhara Unit Chief Commissioner Uskiansyah here on Tuesday.
The offenders were secured Tuesday (5/5) afternoon around 13:00 in the parking lot of Sentra Antasari Market, Banjarmasin. They caught while drinking oplosan, a mixture of alcohol and supplement drink.
Against EL (17), U (32), and O (28), police counducted data collection and warning. They were asked to sign a waiver not to do the act again.
“We see the results of the data collection, if they fall into the category of misdemeanor then we will send the case to the District Court to undergo a misdemeanor trial,” he said.
Thuggery and street crime raid will continue to be conducted regularly in a 100 working days of a new National Police Chief.
