LIMBANG: Limbang-born Sarawak footballer Shreen Tambi, 22, intends to break his goal drought to help Sarawak remain in the Super League.

Shreen, a Bisaya from Kampung Limpasong, Batu Danau Limbang, said the team has played seven matches this year.

“Though I have yet to score any goal in all seven matches I have played this year, I am determined that I can score for Sarawak to enable the Ngap Sayot team remain in the Super League,” he said when met at the recently-concluded FA Cup vying for the YB Paulus Palu Gumbang Cup at the Limbang Sports Complex.

Among those present were assemblymen Paulus Palu Gumbang (Batu Danau) and Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail (Bukit Kota).

On the Limbang League, Shreen, who had previously worn Tiger FC colours in the league, was optimistic that it continues to become an ideal platform to produce many state players and onwards for country.
