Banjarmasin police investigates plastic rice

BANJARMASIN, South Kalimantan: Banjarmasin City Police investigating whether there is a plastic rice circulation in the city area, Antaranews reported.
“This case of plastic rice is beyond South Kalimantan, but we still anticipate that the case does not exist in this region,” said police chief Kombes Pol Drs Wahyono MH here on Wednesday.

He said the Banjarmasin Criminal Investigation Unit Police has been deployed to the field to conduct investigations in places prone to dangerous rice circulation.

Moreover, the city has a port where every day loading and unloading of daily necessities coming from outside South Kalimantan.

“We will do investigation and examination to every port loading and unloading of daily necessities,” said the number one in the Banjarmasin City Police.

Wahyono given to the traders or distributors of rice and nine basic needs not to sell plastic rice in the region of Banjarmasin.

To note that the plastic rice is contaminated rice and contains “synthetic” ingredients. When consumed will lead to stomach pains and headaches.
