SARIKEI: Junior Chamber International (JCI) Mandarin Repok branch will hold a JCI 100-year celebration impact project at the Central Market here this Sunday starting 8am.

“It is a donation-drive project called “One Tea, One Nepal Impact,” its president Mariana Ling said, adding that proceeds from the activity will go to Nepal earth quake victims through Unicef.

She said the project’s main sponsor is Sarikei Black Ball.

“We hope to raise as much as possible for the fund to help especially the 1.7 million children who need clean water, shelter, sanitation, medicine, and so on,” she added and hoped that people will donate generously.

Sarikei District Council chairman Chan Phan Chan will officially launch the project.
