TAWAU: Quick action by firemen prevented a predawn fire that destroyed a coffee shop from spreading to other shops, including an adjacent shop selling cooking gas cylinders, at Hill Top yesterday morning.

He said the firemen reached the scene at 4.21am and immediately started fighting the fire from the front and rear of the shop.
