The injured student is sent to Miri hospital by Miri civil department personnel who happened to pass by the scene at that time.
MIRI: A 15-year-old male student suffered injuries when he was knocked by a lorry on Friday at Miri-Pujut road here.
The 3.30pm incident occurred while the victim was crossing the road with a group of friends.
It was a few metres from the Pujut overhead bridge.
According to the lorry driver, he was heading towards town area from Pujut.
“I managed to horn the students (the group) … within seconds the victim fell to the ground,” said the driver.
The injured student was sent to Miri hospital for medical treatment.
