KUNDASANG: A resident from Kampung Kiau here was manning the counter of his sundry shop when things started falling off the shelves.
“I was shocked as all the canned stuff was falling to the floor and the building started shaking.
“A customer who was in the shop at that time approached me and asked me what was happening.
“Then our car alarms started blaring and we ran out of the shop. We wanted to run to the road side but the electricity poles were swaying and I was afraid that they might fall down so we stopped in front of the shop,” he said.
He added that his house had also been damaged as some doors were jammed after the quake.
