Firemen trying to put out the fire from the gas pipeline that burst into flames in front of the Road Transport Department here today.
MIRI: A gas pipeline in front of the Road Transport Department (RTD) here burst into flames at about 3.45pm yesterday.
A team of eight firemen who rushed to the scene upon receiving an emergency call on the incident and took about an hour to put out the fire.
Sarawak Gas was also on site to turn off the main pipeline in order to be put out completely.
The fire only damaged some trees in front of the RTD.
