KG PULAIE, BERAKAS: The welfare of the people with special needs in the country continues to receive attention from various parties. The Community Development Department, JAPEM with the cooperation of several private companies, organised a Breaking of Fast ceremony with Students and Trainees of Pusat Bahagia. Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Laila Diraja Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Hazair bin Haji Abdullah, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports presented the hari raya contribution to 80 trainees and students with special needs.
The ceremony began with the mass reading of Tahlil led by Awang Nuurmatin bin Haji Abu Bakar, religious teacher of the Pusat Bahagia.
Also in attendance were Datin Paduka Hajah Adina binti Othman, the Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports and Dato Paduka Doktor Awang Haji Affendy bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Abidin, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
