KUCHING: A businessman suffered a huge loss after his house at Tabuan Jaya was broken into Wednesday. A source said the 51-year-old victim returned home to see the main door forced open.
When he went inside he saw the house in a mess. He later found a safe containing cash of RM35,000, gold jewelries and a collection of old coins missing.
He has lodged a police report. Over at Airport Road, a resident lodged a police report after his house was also broken into yesterday morning. The victim woke and found the front door wide open and the house in a mess. He also found that RM1,000 in cash and other foreign currencies gone.
