“But of the 2,518 hectares of mangrove forests in the coastal area, the conditions are still good in area of ​​1,531 hectares, while 987 hectares of mangrove forests were damaged,” he said.

According to him, the destruction of mangrove forests in the coastal areas of the district, due to climate change, coal loading and unloading activities in the special coal port and hostile environment.

In the rehabilitation of mangrove forest, BLH took 14 companies engaged in the specialized coal port operating in the Sub-district of Kintap.
