TUTONG/KUALA BELAIT/TEMBURONG: The Doa Kesyukuran ceremony, mass Fardu Zuhur Prayer as well as the recitations of the Surah Yaasiin, Tahlil and Doa Kesyukuran in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yand Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 69th birthday were also held in the other districts, ©BRUDIRECT.COM reported.
In Kuala Belait District, the ceremony was focused at the Muhammad Jamalul Alam Mosque. Among those present were Legislative Council members from the Belait District and Awang Hasmiron bin Haji Mohd Taib, the Acting Belait District Officer who is also the Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the 69th Royal Birthday Celebrations for the district.
Meanwhile, the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Tutong Ttown became the focus of the ceremony in the Tutong District. Present were Legislative Council members and Awang Wardi Bin Haji Muhammad Ali, the Tutong District Officer.
In Temburong District, a similar ceremony was held at the Utama Mohammad Salleh Mosque in Bangar Town. Among those present were Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Sulaiman bin Haji Ahad, a Legislative Council member and Haji Abdul Hamid bin Dato Paduka Haji Abdullah, the Temburong District Officer.
The ceremonies were held to seek blessings from Allah SWT for His Majesty’s longevity and good health and His Majesty to continue to lead the nation.
