KUCHING: The Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) football league tournament 2015 which kick off on July 25 will see 40 teams competing.
Advisor of the organising committee Edward Kurik said all the games will be played at Padawan Sports Complex in Siburan and Kampung Seratau football field.
He said the tournament will start on July 25 and the official opening on July 26 by deputy speaker of State Legislative Assembly (DUN), who is also Tarat assemblyman Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn.
“The games will be played on every Saturday and Sunday,” Edward said.
According to Edward, the champion of the tournament will win RM3,000, challenge trophy and medals, while the runnerup to walk away with RM2,000, and RM1,500, a trophy and medals, respectively.
The top scorer will also win RM500, he said, adding that the tournament is jointly organised by MPP and Padawan Football Club.
