Dayang owns more than 51 per cent of Perdana Petroleum

KUALA LUMPUR: Dayang Enterprise Holdings Bhd’s (Dayang) takeover offer for Perdana Petroleum Bhd has officially become unconditional as it now owns a 51.21 per cent stake.

On Monday, Dayang said it had received valid acceptances of the offer for 11.779 million shares – or 1.57 per cent stake – increasing its shareholding in Perdana petroleum to 51.21 per cent or 383.31 million shares.

“Accordingly, the acceptance condition has been fulfilled and the offer has become wholly unconditional on July 24, 2015,” it said in a statement to Bursa Malaysia

To note, Dayang had made a conditional take-over offer to acquire the shares of Perdana Petroleum at RM1.55 per share and 84 sen per warrant.
