OnePlus Two was officially unveiled today at 10pm on its launch event via VR Live Stream. It will be available in two variants: 16GB version that cost USD329 (approx. RM1,256) and 64GB version that is retailed at USD389(approx. RM1,485).

OnePlus Two offers metal design to its exterior look which makes it feels premium yet solid this time. It feels comfortable in hands as well.

Its body dimension measurements are 151.8 x 74.9 x 9.85 mm, it is weighing in at 175 grams.

Let’s get into the specs. The OnePlus Two has opted for a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS-NEO display instead of using a 2K screen, which the company claims the Quad HD display is not bright enough and way too power hungry. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

Being the new flagship of the company, OnePlus Two will be featuring the flagship level SoC from Qualcomm-Snapdragon 810 64-bit Octa Core processor which is powerful yet provides good temperature control such as the Snapdragon 801 chipset.

The OnePlus Two is pairing with 3GB/4GB LPDDR4 RAM with 16/64GB of internal storage depending on its variant.

Apart from the above main highlights of the device, it also features a 13MP OIS main camera with 1.3 micron pixel size and fingerprint sensor on a Home button below the front display which looks identical to Samsung’s Galaxy series. Its front-facing camera is 5 megapixel snapper.

We also spotted its USB Type-C port which is reversible and offers high speed data transfer. It is mated with a 3,300 mAh size battery where the rear cover is removable. The Laser Autofocus sensor is found below the rear camera. There’s also a notification toggle added on the left side of the device.

There’s Dual SIM card slots on the device and it will be running Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with its own-designed Oxygen OS user interface.
