KUCHING: A BMW 320i car is among three hole-in-one prizes at the KGS Hari Raya Open House golf tournament which tees off at the Sarawak Golf Club today.
Organising chairman Abdul Ghanie Tahir said the organisers are grateful to Serba Dinamik Group Berhad for kindly coming forward as a first-time sponsor for the hole-in-one prize with one unit of BMW 320i luxury car worth RM244,000 for Matang Hole 8 and Siol Hole 6.
“Apart from that, the hole-in-one achiever at Matang Hole 3, Santubong Hole 14 and 17, Siol Hole 4 and Demak Hole 14 and 17 shall receive RM2,000 and should there be more than one winner, the prize will be shared equally.
“The other hole-in-one prize for the above holes is a Umrah package worth RM7,000 for one person or any holiday destination with equal value, sponsored by al Quds Travel,” Ghanie said at the sponsorship presentation at KGS on Wednesday.
Present to hand over the sponsorship to Ghanie was Serba Dinamik Group Berhad’s deputy president Pangeran Dato Daud Pangeran Putera and special projects director Hasweera Hassan.
Ghani was pleased with the overwhelming response of nearly 200 golfers who will vie for honours in various categories including Men’s Group A, Group B, Ladies and invited guests in today’s tee-off.
Apart from the prizes for the men’s and ladies’ competitions, novelty prizes such as longest drive, nearest to pin and nearest to line will be awarded to the winners.
There will also be a lucky draw of 40 prizes for the lucky winners.
