Bing’s remains found face up by the search party.
LUBOK ANTU: The mysterious disappearance of 47-year-old Bing Sze Hiun has been solved yesterday following the discovery of his body about 1km from where he was reported missing.
Bing was reported missing after answering the call of nature by the roadside near an oil palm plantation in San Semanju at 6.25pm Thursday.
According to one of his friends, they were on their way from Lubok Antu to Sri Aman delivering goods when Bing suddenly stopped by the roadside and made a dash into the bushes as if possessed.
“He was acting unusual after emerging from the bushes before making a dash again. I chased after him for about 10 metres before he disappeared out of sight,” his friend said.
According to the head of Betong Fire and Rescue Department, James Whelan, Bing’s body was found in good condition after a three-day search by the Police, Fire and Rescue Department and Civil Defence Department.
