KUCHING: The Sarawak Bumiputera Table Tennis Association is organising an invitational tournament from Aug 28-31.
According to the association’s secretary Morshidi Kaderi, three categories will be contested – individual, doubles and team.
“The location for this tournament has not been decided yet, but it will be most likely held at the the Indoor Hall of the Yayasan Sarawak building in Petra Jaya. Registration is open for now,” he added.
Registration will close on Aug 10, 5pm.
A major objectives of the event is to unearth more Bumiputra table tennis talent in Sarawak.
Organisers are still looking for sponsors who can contact Morshidi at 016-8005214.
The tournament is also held in conjunction with this year’s 58th National Day celebration, he said.
