KUALA LUMPUR: Eight construction workers had a close shave when a floor of a building at Fasa II Prima Selayang, here, that they were working on collapsed early yesterday.
In the 4.45am incident, three of them escaped unhurt, another three were lightly injured and two were badly injured.
Operation commander of the Fire and Rescue Department Sunip Kadiron said the eight men believed, to be Indonesian and Bangladeshi nationals, were still working when the floor at level five of the building collapsed and trapped five of them.
“All the workers were later rescued and sent to the Selayang Hospital,” he told Bernama, here, yesterday. — Bernama
