KUALA LUMPUR: Defending champions, Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) succeeded in retaining the Super League Cup despite recording a shock 1-2 loss to Felda United in their last league match at Selayang Stadium, near here tonight.

The victory of the Southern Tigers was in part aided by Pahang’s 1-3 loss to Terengganu in an away game.

As league champions, JDT took home a cash prize of RM750,000 and the Super League Cup which was presented by the Football Association of Johor (PBNJ) president Datuk Ismail Karim to team captain Safiq Rahim.
