The country is inviting the state’s industry players and stake holders to take part in the expo to get complete information about quality products and services as well as the possibility and opportunity to venture into the Indonesia market.

Indonesia’s Consul-General in Kuching, Jahar Gultom, said this through a press statement during a dinner the consulate hosted at one of leading hotels here on Wednesday.

The consulate also said the trade expo, to be held for the 30th time this year, would be the largest ‘Business-To-Business’ exhibition in Indonesia organised by the country’s Ministry of Trade with the support of various ministries including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The trade expo is aimed at promoting quality Indonesian-made products and services to the global market, developing trade relations, expanding networking, creating business matching and exchanging of business potentials and opportunities, especially for those who seek to venture into Indonesia’s industrial sector.

This year’s theme ‘Trade With Remarkable Indonesia’ will show more than 2000 quality products and services. It will be divided into five large products zones, such as manufactured goods and services, furniture and furnishing, food and beverages, fashion, lifestyles and creative products and premium small medium enterprise products from all Indonesia’s provinces and one Asean pavilion in honour of Asean economic community (AEC) era.

Other major programmes to be held in this event include trade and investment forum, investment clinic, company and industrial visit and one-on-one business meeting.
