KOTA KINABALU: The 15th Sutera Harbour 7K Run will be flagged off by Mayor Datuk Abidin Madingkir at the Covered Tennis Court, Sutera Harbour Marina & Country Club here at 5.17pm today.
Public are reminded that the roads going in and out of Sutera Harbour Resort will be closed from 4.45pm to 6.45pm, while the Coastal Highway leading to IMAGO Link Bridge will also be closed to make way for the run.
Everyone who is joining the run is advised to enter the Covered Tennis Court through the Sutera Harbour Marina & Country Club’s main entrance or through The Pacific Sutera Hotel via the Marina Boardwalk to make way for the runners who are already at the starting point waiting for the flag-off.
The event will begin at 4pm with the energetic Zumba session and the new fitness workout regime, Piloxing. Everyone is invited to join this exciting session for free.
After the flag-off, come and join the 7K Post Run Concert with the many sponsors’ booths including 100Plus, VICO and Red Bull offering free drinks on first come first serve basis.
There are also many food and beverage stalls available and all transactions at these stalls are strictly using the 7K vouchers, which you can exchange for one lucky dip at the redemption counter. One voucher entitles one lucky dip where you can win attractive prizes and vouchers.
There will also be special performances from Adel AF, Myra Lilly Aduk, Noy, Amoi, Suria Buskers, Interim Injunction, Fingerstyle, Merges Crew, Borneo Rumble Kidz and Swagger Squad.
Emceeing the event that day are DJs from Astro Radio Sabah – Kim (ERA FM), Natasha (MY FM) and Cassie (Hitz FM) while Rica (Hitz FM) will be doing a live OB from the Covered Tennis Court that day.
This year, runners who complete the run within 77 minutes will stand a chance to win one of the ten attractive lucky draw prizes.
The main sponsor of this year’s 7K Run is One XOX Sdn Bhd. Other sponsors include Parexgroup Sdn Bhd, Sounds Tech Production and SHAPE. The official drink is 100 Plus, official energy drink is Red Bull and the official radio station is Astro Radio Sabah.
Supporting the 7K Run are the Ministry of Youth and Sports Sabah, Kota Kinabalu City Hall and the Federal Youth and Sports Department in Sabah.
