KUCHING: Readers of KTS Media Group’s Borneo Post, Utusan Borneo, See Hua Daily News and Oriental Daily News can now check out the news in digital thanks to a collaboration with postpaid mobile service provider redONE Network Sdn Bhd.

RedONE and KTS Media Group will be extending e-paper services throughout their 100 concept stores in Malaysia. Customers who sign up for the redONE phone bundle programme for at least 3GB of data will receive a free annual subscription to one of the paper publications.

“With this collaboration, we are also working with Huawei. If you sign up with our 12-month plan, you will receive one Huawei tablet for free,” said redONE chief sales officer Ben Teh.

According to redONE chief executive officer Farid Yunus who announced the collaboration during the special launching at Crown Towers this morning, redONE was the fastest growing mobile service provider in the country.

“After three years, redONE now has about 700,000 post-paid customers and we are aiming for one million by the end of this year.”

redONE was established in 2012 and uses Celcom Axiata’s mobile infrastructure to ensure wide coverage.

In Sarawak, redONE premier shops are located in Kuching, Bintulu, Miri and Sibu while in Sabah are in Kota Kinabalu, Keningau, Sandakan, Lahad Datu, Semporna and Tawau.
