MIRI: Pusat Belia A emerged champion after beating Galaxy A in the final of the Sepaktakraw Championship held at IKBN here on Sunday.
The two-day tournament, organised by Youth and Sport Department Miri with Persatuan Sepaktakraw Bahagian Miri 2015 (PSBM), attracted 26 teams.
Finishing third was Senadin A. PSBM chairman Mohd Udzair Khan said the event was aimed at uncovering new talents in the sport.
Also present during the final was Youth and Sport Department Miri officer Mohd Shukri Drahman.
Participating teams were Senadin B, Galaxy A, Kampung Tunku Abdul Rahman Lambir B, Senadin A, Taman Tunku, Masjid Kampung Luak, Kampung Muhibbah, Kuala Baram, Pusat Belia B, Kampung Muhibbah Kuala Baram A, Kampung Tunku Abdul Rahman Lambir, Galaxy V, Pusat Belia C, Institute Latihan Perindustrian Miri B, Galaxy Gamma, Pusat Belia A, Felcra, Persatuan Sepaktakraw Bahagian Miri (2015), Kampung Muhibbah Kuala Baram C, Masjid Kampung Luak B, Sumex-Sumex, PSBM Management, Nafas Dunhill, Galaxy B, IKBM Miri, Galaxy Delta and Institute Iatihan Perindustrian Miri.
