KUCHING: The National Sport Day 2015 celebration will take place on Oct 10.
In Sarawak, programmes for the day will start from 6.30am at the Padang Merdeka here.
Social Development Minister Tan Sri William Mawan Ikom will launch the event which is expected to draw 19,600 people.
National Sport Day is aimed at raising awareness of the importance of keeping fit and active for a healthy lifestyle.
