BINTULU: Naim Holdings Bhd has opened Block B and D of the Street Mall within Bintulu Paragon – the group’s integrated development touted as the largest of its kind in this division.

The fully-roofed mall is one of multiple components under the big project, which include the small office/versatile office (Sovo), hotels, condominium buildings and corporate office towers. The launch at the mall’s piazza yesterday also included the opening of its six-storey Sovo B block. Naim’s chief operating officer for property Lau Keat Hoo said the group was grateful for the ongoing solid support given by the local community to the Bintulu Paragon project. “This (event) is a gesture of our appreciation to the Bintulu community. We believe that people here share our pride in Bintulu Paragon,” he said. Bintulu Paragon Street Mall is said to be the longest of its kind in the state, while its condominium blocks are believed to be the tallest.

“More importantly, this iconic development is in our beloved Bintulu town,” Lau added. The event yesterday was made merrier by a lively marching band show by students of SMK Bintulu, special appearances by Leonard Thian Yu Xiu who was last year’s first runner-up of National Kids Talent Search 2014 and also Melissa Wong, the first runner-up of Miss Malaysia of the World 2009 and Elite Model Look Malaysia 2008. Naim senior sales and marketing general managers Alice Ting and Wahidatul Al-Fairus also attended the ceremony.
