BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Minister of Defence and the Supreme Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, yesterday afternoon consented to receive in audience His Excellency Major General Perry Lim Cheng Yeow, Chief of Defence Force of Singapore Armed Forces, ©BRUDIRECT.COM reported.

The visiting Chief of Defence is in the country for a three-day introductory visit.

Present were First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz bin Haji Mohd Tamit, Deputy Minister of Defence; Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces and His Excellency Jaya Ratnam, Singapore High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam.

Also present were Colonel Seet Uei Lim, Head of Joint Research Department of Singapore Armed Forces; and Colonel Tan Hong Teck, Commander of Naval Diving Unit, Singapore Navy; Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Juanda bin Haji A Rashid, Permanent Secretary (Law and Welfare) at the Prime Minister’s Office and Abu Sultan bin Haji Ali, Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence.
