Seventh Tribe GMP
KUCHING: Sarawak Entertainers’ Night will feature three talented artistes namely DJ Ice Cream, Krump Katz Crew and Seventh Tribe GMP.
The event will be held on Nov 13 at 8pm at Serenity Court, Crown Square.
According to a press release, DJ IceCream first got involved in the local music scene at the age of 19 and has been influenced by many genres of music.
Through friends and connections, he got to know LOOPS DJ; a group which formally teaches music and DJ’ing skills.
His first public appearance was in 2010 when he performed at The Core Lounge here in Kuching.
He also has had several stints as the opening act for famous superstar DJ’s from all around the world.
Dance group Krump Katz Crew was established in 2014 and they specialise in the dance style known as ‘krumping’, representing the city during various shows and events.
They have helped push the dance movement while performing throughout Sarawak and were also among the first to popularise ‘Krump Culture’ here.
The band known as Seventh Tribe GMP was formed in 2010 and consists of several multi-talented musicians.
They are a highly versatile cover band armed with an extensive repertoire of songs ranging from classic rock of the 60’s to retro and dance music as well as current hit numbers, performing at numerous entertainment venues throughout the state.
The band has also produced their first single in Iban titled ‘Nuan Di Atiku’ which won the Best Single award during Anugerah Dayak Music 2014.
All three acts will perform with several other local musicians, dancers and entertainers during Sarawak Entertainers’ Night.
