Police to hold drive to recruit male constables this month

KUCHING: The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) are to recruit male constables at several locations across the state this
month.

The exercise will be held at the 11th Battalion General Operations Force (GOF) camp in Batu Kawah here and the 12th Battalion GOF camp in Sri Aman from tomorrow till Nov 15 while in Sibu, it will be run at the district police headquarters (IPD) today (Nov 4) and tomorrow (Nov 5).

The exercise will be conducted at IPD Bintulu on Nov 7, IPD Sarikei on Nov 11-12, and IPD Miri on Nov15-17.

All of those who have applied through the Public Service Commission (SPA) portal can come to the locations nearest to them.

“The applicants must be at the recruitment venue before 7.15am for the physical examination. They must wear proper sports attire, complete with shoes.

“In addition, they should also bring relevant documents such as MyKad as well as academic and co-curricular certificates,” a statement from the department said.

The exercise is part of the nationwide drive to recruit male constables.
