BANJARMASIN, South Kalimantan: Collision between kelotok and boat on the Alalak River, Barito Kuala District, caused one death, AntaranewsKalsel reported.
“The victim who was drowned in the accident was found by a joint team in a state of death,” said Chief of Banjarmasin water police (Satpolair) unit AKP Untung Widodo SSt here on Tuesday.
He said the collision between kelotok and the boat took place on Tuesday (10/11) afternoon at East Berangas Alalak River, Sub-district of Alalak. Kelotok is a traditional river boat usually fitted with inboard or outboard motors.
In the accident one man missing and Satpolair Banjarmasin together with Satpolair Barito Kuala combined searches.
About six hours searching for survivor ended on Tuesday (10/11) afternoon around 18:05 pm. Not far from the scene found the victim in a state already passed. He was identified as Asriani alias Gulu (60), a resident of Berangas Timur Rt 6, Sub-district of Alalak.
