KUCHING: PSKPP emerged the champions of the Sarawak Maksak Inter-Club Volleyball Tournament at Datuk Kawada Volleyball Stadium, Muara Tabuan from Nov 7-8.
They won all their five games in the six-team league competition to collect the maximum15 points. They beat JPJ 2-0, Unimas 2-0, Kuport 2-0, STIDC 2-0 and Pustaka 2-0.
Pustaka were runners-up with 12 points from four wins and one loss while Unimas finished third place with nine points from three wins and two defeat. Fourth was Kuport on six points resulting from two wins and three losses.
JPJ won one game and lost four for fifth spot just ahead of winless STIDC.
A total of 70 players took part in the men’s competition hosted by Sarawak Education Department.
