KUCHING: Dr Chin Ngien Siong of Physical Education and Health Department received the Special Co-curricular Appreciation Award at the Institute of Teacher Education Tun Abdul Razak Campus’ (IPGKTAR) annual Co-Curricular Excellence Awards Ceremony recently.

He was recognised for his notable continuous contributions and commitment towards sports in the institute, state and country.

IPGKTAR director Hamsiah Abdullah Masni received the Special Co-curricular Appreciation Award for Management for her personal commitment to the organisation.

Hamsiah presented several excellence awards to outstanding trainee teachers who have contributed to their co-curricular life, leadership and creative involvement in the campus and beyond.

They included Lim Ting Len and Henry Belumbong Tujoh (Star Appreciation Award); Mohd Hamdan Pallao and Wiwieyana Ahmad Basri (Leadership Award); Jackwarior Jackol and Azia Farzana Badduwie (Co-curricular Achievement Award); Mohd Khusairi Robiin and Dolly Diana Ujang (Community Service Award).

Co-curriculum Unit Head Michael Belekum thanked all who have contributed towards the success of co-curricular activities in IPGKTAR and beyond.

The awards ceremony was organised by the Co-Curriculum Unit and trainee teachers of PISMP semester six.
