Microsoft has officially unveiled the Surface Pro 4 series for the Malaysian market yesterday. With the introduction of this series to the local market, it marks the end of the supplies for Surface Pro 3 as it will be discontinued to give way to Surface Pro 4.

Specifications wise, Surface Pro 4 offers a 12.3-inch PixelTouch display with the resolution of 2,736 x 1,824 pixels. It is powered by 6th generation Intel Core M3, i5 or i7 processor based on user preferences.

There’s an 8 MP rear camera and 5 MP camera on the front. It is able to last up to 9 hours of video playback, official claims.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is running on Windows 10 Pro and comes with Surface Pen in the box too.

Surface Pro 4 is offered in different model variants as listed below:

  • Intel  Core M + 4 GB RAM +128GB ROM – RM3,999
  • Intel  Core i5 + 4 GB RAM +128GB ROM – RM 4,499
  • Intel  Core i5 + 8 GB RAM+256GB ROM – RM 5,799
  • Intel Core i7 + 8 GB RAM+256GB ROM – RM 7,099
  • Intel Core i7+  16 GB RAM+256GB ROM – RM 8,049
  • Intel Core i7 + 16 GB RAM+512GB ROM – RM 9,799

For every purchase of Surface Pro 4 will be given a dedicated stylus called Surface Pen worth RM259. For those who are interested with the add-on bluetooth keyboard, you need to pay extra RM529 to grab it.

The new tablet and its related accessories can be purchased through Microsoft Malaysia’s online store on Lazada and Microsoft Authorized Reseller Stores in Suria KLCC, Plaza Low Yat, Gardens Mall, Sunway Pyramid, The Curve, One Utama, Pavilion, Bukit Tinggi, and The Mines.

It will be available at other Microsoft authorized retailers and resellers starting next week.
