KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) president Japiril Suhaimin wants the state government to bar Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar Ibrahim from entering Sabah following her meeting with Princess Jacel Jamalul Kiram.

Japiril in his Facebook posting yesterday urged the Sabah state government following her meeting with the princess who was the spokesperson for Sultan Kiram during the Lahad Datu armed intrusion by soldiers from the Sulu Sultanate in 2013.

“Nurul Izzah has hurt the sensitivity of the people of Sabah who had lost their loved ones during the intrusion by soldiers loyal to Jamalul Kiram during the armed battle with Malaysian security forces in Tanduo.

“Stop her from entering Sabah,” he said.

One comment received on Facebook urged all PKR reps in Sabah to stop supporting PKR. —Bernama
