KUCHING: The Sarawak government has come up with a proposed ‘New Affordable Housing Policy and Guidelines’ as part of its measures to address affordable housing issues in the state.
Housing Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg said the proposed new policy will soon be brought to the State Cabinet for endorsement.
“The new policy will benefit all parties including developers and also buyers,” he said at a news conference at his office here today.
According to him, the new policy is expected to be implemented next year.
