MIRI: A motorcyclist was in a serious but not a life-threatening condition after his motorcycle was apparently rammed from behind by a lorry along Luak road here on Saturday evening.
Both vehicles were heading towards Luak Bay from the Esplanade when the accident occurred around 6pm during torrential rain in the city.
The injured rider in his 20s was taken to hospital.
According to sources, the motorcycle was dragged for a few metres before the lorry driver pulled over at a traffic light intersection in Luak.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
