KAPIT: Members of PBB Embuau branch covering Sungai Lijau, Sungai Manap, Sungai Lajan and Sungai Embuau have pledged their full support for incumbent Katibas assemblyman Datuk Ambrose Blikau Enturan to defend the constituency in the coming state election.
The show of support came from Tuai Rumah Kilau Matong who represented Sungai Lijau that covers Rumah Kilau, Rumah Ngelambong Sagi, Rumah Jipon and Rumah Manja and Tuai Rumah Buni Jengeng who represented Sungai Lajan that includes Rumah Smiggat, Rumah Geruma, Rumah Buni and Rumah Saing.
Sungai Embuau covering Rumah Kulleh Muari and Rumah Tanang was represented by Penghulu Lebun Andol while Tuai Rumah Nyala Pang pledged his support on behalf of the longhouses at Sungai Manap that include Rumah Timothy Asun, Rumah Nyala, Rumah Wan Ngie, Ruman Muni and Rumah Undieng.
Kena Gendang, the chairman of PBB Embuau branch, concurred with the community leaders in Embuau that Blikau be re-nominated as the BN candidate for Katibas.
They all felt that Blikau’s service was still very much needed to bring further development to the rural areas in Song District.
The pledge and show of support was made during the road show by PBB Katibas division to PBB Embuau branch
recently that was led by Blikau himself.
During the road show, various activities were held, including registration of new voters, re-registration of PBB Embuau branch and a visit to all the longhouses in the area.
Among those in the road show were PBB Song branch chairman Sylvester Panau Ragai, PBB Embuau branch Women chief Elizabeth Gura, PBB Embuau branch Youth chief Tuai Rumah Buni Jengeng, PBB Song branch Youth chief John Limbang and village chiefs from Sungai Lijau, Manap, Lajan and Embuau.
Meanwhile, the entourage continued their road show to PBB Lower Katibas branch yesterday that covers Rumah Saoh at Nanga Banjor, Rumah Abo at Nanga Tekalit, Rumah Illai Lasah at Nanga Miaw, Rumah Jala Ugol and Rumah Nyanggun at Nanga Miaw.
Today, the entourage will go to Rumah Nyalu and Rumah Bealyong at Sungai Takan, Rumah Nyongkap at Nanga Entawai, Rumah Gerunsin Pagang at Nanga Nyimoh and Rumah Seligie at Nanga Nyimoh.
On January 27 they will be at Rumah Jarop, Nanga Sepadi, Rumah Bana at Emperan Mulong, Rumah Edwin Barnabas and Rumah Cecelia Bunsu at Nanga Kebiau.
